Small-Group Training. Advanced Technology. Competitive Development.
Coach Barla’s NEW Junior Competitive Golf Performance – Group Program
Aug 11th – Sept 10, 2026
6:00PM – 6:50PM
Why BGA Created the Junior Competitive Golf Performance – Group Program
Every junior golfer develops differently—and meaningful improvement requires more than simply playing matches.
BGA’s Junior Competitive Golf Performance Program provides a smaller, more focused training environment where Coach Barla can spend more time working directly with each player.
Rather than a traditional league format, the emphasis is on player development, purposeful practice, measurable improvement, and competitive preparation.
Juniors benefit from greater individual attention while still experiencing the camaraderie, motivation, and healthy competition that comes from training with other young golfers who share similar goals.
The Barla Golf Academy Advantage
Expert Coaching
Under the leadership of Golf Digest’s 2026–2027 Best Teacher in Indiana, Coach Scott Barla, junior golfers receive instruction that combines proven golf fundamentals with advanced biomechanics and modern performance technology.
Coach Barla works with each player to identify individual strengths and areas for improvement, helping juniors develop a more consistent and effective game.
Comprehensive Performance Training
The program goes beyond the golf swing to develop the complete competitive player.
Training may include full-swing development, putting and short game, course management, strategic decision-making, mental performance, tournament preparation, competitive skill challenges, and purposeful practice routines.
The goal is simple: help juniors learn how to practice, how to compete, and how to perform when it matters.
NEW! Smart2Move® 3D Force Plate Technology
BGA junior golfers now have access to one of the most advanced technologies in modern golf performance training.
Barla Golf Academy is one of only two golf training facilities in Indiana featuring the Smart2Move® Dual 3D Force Plate System.
Smart2Move allows Coach Barla to measure what traditional swing video can’t see—including how a golfer uses the ground, transfers pressure, maintains balance, and generates power throughout the golf swing.
For developing junior athletes, this information can be especially valuable. As juniors grow and become stronger, understanding how their bodies move can help them develop more efficient movement patterns, improve balance and coordination, and create speed and power more effectively.
It’s not about making every junior swing the same. It’s about helping each player understand and develop the most efficient swing for their individual game.
