Coach Scott Barla recently attended the PGA 2024 Show at the Orange County Convention Center in January receiving the PGA 2023 #GameChanger Award.

Since 2019, the PGA recognizes outstanding PGA Jr. League Coaches with the #GameChanger Awards. 

The #GameChanger Awards are really about celebrating programs that create more opportunities for more kids to play more golf. Traditionally, we’ve recognized PGA Coaches with the 25 largest programs across the country and the largest program in each PGA Section.

PGA Coaches who meet ALL of the following will be recognized as a 2023 Player Engagement #GameChanger Award winner:

• 24 or more active PGA Jr. League players
• Host of multiple PGA Jr. League divisions (13u and 17u) OR multiple seasons
• Host a PGA Family Cup event
• ADM Certified
